Vous le savez peut-être, A-ha va se séparer à la fin de cette année, après une dernière tournée qui passera par le Zénith de Paris le 12 octobre prochain... soit près d’un an après le concert à Bobino déjà annoncé à l’époque comme un concert d’adieu - sans commentaire. Concert nous ayant tellement écorché les oreilles que l’on préférera se concentrer sur les disques qui nous avaient ému étant gosses. Eh oui, quels que soient les styles de musique qui vous font bouger aujourd’hui, il y a bien quelques trucs des années 80 qui vont font revenir des images en tête. Et pour beaucoup d’entre nous, A-ha fonctionne encore. Et pas qu’en soirée karaoke. En dehors des perles pop ayant si bien marché à la radio, les albums du groupe étaient des oeuvres respectables, qui continuent encore à influencer bien des groupes de synthpop...
C’est donc avec un certain plaisir que l’on apprend la sortie prochaine de rééditions "deluxe" des deux premiers albums du groupe norvégien par l’excellent label Rhino. Les pré-commandes débutent mardi 11 mai sur le site du label, et les envois commenceront fin juin. Les deux albums sont blindés de bonus. Hunting high and low comprend des titres rares (certains uniquement diffusés en Norvège à l’époque), des remixes et quelques démos, alors que Scoundrel days comprend chaque titre original en version démo, et cinq titres live en Grande-Bretagne.
